This Sunday we commence a new series in the life of our church that looks at the story of a true God and His unfolding plan in this world. Beginning with life, as we know it, The Story reveals to us a God who speaks, a God who acts, a God who listens and a God whose love for this world culminated in Him sending His one and only Son to save humanity from their sins.
What’s so exciting about this story is that it is not history; God is still alive and active in our world today. He still speaks, He still acts, He still listens and He is still demonstrating His love to all of humanity today. He’s the same God who rescued a nation from captivity and He’s the same God who graciously forgave the failings of a king. Over the coming weeks we will discover how our own stories intersect with God’s big story and plan of redemption for this world. It’s our hope and prayer that the stories we look at will encourage you to see things through God’s eyes knowing that He is helping shape your own story in this world.
Our FOCUS series is designed to help us more fully understand what it takes to be disciples that make other disciples and followers of Jesus Christ. As we look at this over the next few weeks, we will be focusing on three key principles found within the scriptures that will help you and I accomplish God’s mission for our church.
Hot days and warms nights; something we often associate with summer, but summer is more than that: it is time for family, friends and fun; it is relaxing, rewinding and refreshing; it's time for connecting and reconnecting. We love summer at BBC - the summer gives us the opportunity to give some of our local folk the opportunity to share the pulpit and to give us a different perspective on God and His work in the community, both locally and abroad.
Feel free to join us and connect.
