Ephesians 1:3-14 speaks about the new life we have since we have been united with Christ. God has poured out His favour on our lives, adopting us into His family and giving us all the privileges of being His spiritual children (John 1:12; Gal 3:26-29; 4:4-7).

Psalm 139 is a very personal passage about our identity as a child of God. It talks about Him forming us and as a consequence we are fearfully and wonderfully made. His hand in our creation is a wonderful starting place when it comes to knowing who we are in this world (Gen 1:26-27).
